ABOUT US
Who are we and what are we? And of course, what do we want?
We are Kleo museum project team: Maja Galić (mag. Restoration-conservation) and Katija Šore (web developer), both with many years of experience in ours various fields.
We are developing the conceptual concept of the Kleo museum project through the Start IT Academy for 2021, supported by the ICT County. The project has been positively evaluated and we have been working hard from the beginning to get the final transformation into implementation through start-ups. With the experience of working in the corporate world and entrepreneurship, and numerous projects in culture, sales, access to clients and visitors, there was a challenging opportunity to change the process of seling tickets and access to information to visitors to museum institutions. The Kleo museum project is defined by three development platforms: Kleio museum marketing, Kleio museum tickets, Kleio museum education. For the end of this short presentation, the name Kleio is after one of the 9 Greek Muses. Kleio or Klio is the patroness of history and heroic poetry. The etymology of the name Kleio is the Greek word kleo which means to make famous or to celebrate. So we are really well on our way to raising our museums in celebration and in the digital world as they truly deserve. We love our heritage!

The Archaeological Museum in Split, the oldest museum institution in Croatia, was founded in 1820 by a decree of the Dalmatian Government in Zadar. The impetus for its founding was the arrival of Emperor Francis I in Dalmatia in 1818, when he visited Split and the Solin monuments.

About the music of Cleo
Clio is one of the nine Muses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. She is the patroness of history and heroic poetry. Its name comes from the Greek word kleo / klio which means “to narrate” or “to make famous”. Her attributes are a papyrus scroll and a laurel wreath, with which she is often crowned. Sometimes she holds a trumpet or books. Clio had a son Hyacinth with Pira, King of Macedonia. According to some sources, she was also Hymen’s mother.
Muses are in Greek mythology, the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. There are nine of them: Kaliopa epic poetry and oratory, Clio history, Polyhimnia serious poetry and mimicry, Euterpa flutist art, Terpsichore dance, Erata love poetry, Melpomena tragedy, Talia comedy, Uranium astronomy. Herodotus dedicated each book of his History to one muse. They glorify and cheer the gods, and they are led by Apollo Muzeget.
